Britten War Requiem (“First-rate… revelled in [his] diction, projecting and phrasing… with aplomb” (Seen and Heard International)), Verdi Requiem, Brahms Deutsches Requiem, Monteverdi Vespers, and Vaughan Williams A Sea Symphony.

The Bach Tradition

Frequent appearances with the Oxford Bach Soloists (including the Johannes-Passion and Magnificat) and a long-standing collaboration with the Instruments of Time & Truth under Edward Higginbottom.

Recital

A specialist in 20th-century English song, Daniel has performed his First World War programme at prestigious venues ranging from Gloucester Cathedral to Steinway Hall, New York.

Opera and media


On the stage, Daniel has performed roles including Smirnov (The Bear), Walton (New Chamber Opera), and Giampaolo (Le Astuzie Feminilli), Cimarosa.

His vocal versatility has also made him a sought-after artist for screen and media. Notably, he features as a solo vocalist for the Sony Interactive Entertainment blockbuster Horizon Zero Dawn (which has sold over 24 million copies). He is also a featured soloist on the New College Choir recording of Parry, released to mark the Armistice Centenary.
